Publisher's summary

With the same wicked humor and delicious charm that have won her millions of devoted fans, Sophie Kinsella, author of the number one New York Times best seller Shopaholic & Baby, returns with an irresistible new novel.

When 28-year-old Lexi Smart wakes up in a London hospital, she’s in for a big surprise. Her teeth are perfect. Her body is toned. Her handbag is Vuitton. Having survived a car accident, Lexi has lost a big chunk of her memory, three years to be exact, and she’s about to find out just how much things have changed. Somehow Lexi went from a 25-year-old working girl to a corporate big shot with a sleek new loft, a personal assistant, a carb-free diet, and a set of glamorous new friends. And who is this gorgeous husband - who also happens to be a multimillionaire?

With her mind still stuck three years in reverse, Lexi greets this brave new world determined to be the person she...well, seems to be. That is, until an adorably disheveled architect drops the biggest bombshell of all. Suddenly Lexi is scrambling to catch her balance. Her new life, it turns out, comes complete with secrets, schemes, and intrigue. How on earth did all this happen? Will she ever remember? And what will happen when she does?

Another wonderful book from Kinsella , love the life lessons in her books, not sure if she means it to be there or not but listen and you'll see what I mean.

Light Hearted mystery and romance

If you are seeking light escapism, this will serve you well. A few elements are a bit thin, but they serve as good campiness.

Pleasant

While I am a huge fan of Sophie Kinsella, Remember Me is not my favorite of her books. Overall, though, the story is still entertaining and good for a few chuckles out loud.

Love Kinsella- This One Left Me a Bit Disappointed

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?

If you are a Kinsella's fan you won't want to miss it. However, it was not my favorite by far.

This book was good - it seemed a bit tedious to me as I was just waiting: Will she remember? As others point out it is Kinsella's style but the chuckles weren't there as much. When they hit they were hilarious-spit your soda, snorting laughter.

I think I wanted a different ending-but cannot say anymore without spoiling.

Would you be willing to try another book from Sophie Kinsella? Why or why not?

Absolutely, she is one of my favorite 'Chic Lit' authors. Marian Keyes is my favorite but Sophie Kinsella is a close second!

Have you listened to any of Rosalyn Landor’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Yes, she does a fantastic job although she does sound a bit 'old' for these characters at times.

Any additional comments?

Excellent.

Great variety of interesting characters. Suspenseful story. Thought provoking. Did not want the story to end.

Enjoyed It!

Another fun and interesting story from Kinsella! Landor's narration was spot on. I am looking forward to Kinsella's new book coming out in October. I have made it through the list and will have withdrawals until then. Other books seem so boring and lackluster after romps with Kinsella's lively stories and energetic narrators.

Took a while to like heroine

The author explains the heroine’s memory loss but as a character she seemed willfully stupid at times. Hard to push through sections. Not as much of the light hearted quality I enjoyed in this author’s other books.

Cute Book

I enjoyed this book but it was a bit inconsistent for me. At times I didn't want to turn it off and others I couldn't wait for it to move on.. But overall was good entertainment.

Hilarious

Very entertaining and fun to listen to! Reminded me of Helen Fielding' s Bridget Jones.

Huh?!

Would you try another book from Sophie Kinsella and/or Rosalyn Landor?

Yes, Sophie Kinsella tells a good story, even if they do seem to follow a bit of a formula. There's a lot of similarity in her characters, but she knows her characters and writes them well.

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

I read a lot of Agatha Christie and there was some mystery to this story, so it was thought provoking. Sophie Kinsella writes good comedy, not so sure about the mystery. I think that she held too much back for too long.

Have you listened to any of Rosalyn Landor’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

Not sure.

Do you think Remember Me? needs a follow-up book? Why or why not?

I could imagine an interesting follow up with her mother, sister and business venture.
