Blown away

This book is written so beautifully that I found myself really connecting to it in ways I didn’t expect. I stumbled upon this book thinking it was just a romantic novel which it was indeed romantic. There was so much depth and beauty in the characters and story that I cried multiple times. I loved the intentions passages of the bible and how they correlated so gracefully with each character and they’re story line. Each one spoke to the deepest part of my heart, Thank you for thud beautiful story about love, God and Gods love.

God is GOOD, and He speaks!

* Wow, I have been in a tough head space spiritually, mentally, and naturally. I knew I would continue to seak God for direction but it has been so hard. Most days I haven't even wanted to hear my own thoughts for fear I would make things worse. I would pray, and write to God and do things to keep from thinking. I had started this book before I got to this place. I wanted to finish it but with everything that had happened I wanted to dive into the Bible, and not read or watch anything apart from it. My Mommy encouraged me to finish the book as I sought God and His word. I agreed, continuing to listen thinking it was just a love story of a man and woman. But it was SO MUCH MORE! It was exactly what I needed to hear in this moment. As I write this review, I am tearing up. I never once doubted God, but I doubted myself. I didn't think or know how to forgive myself. But through this book I learned more about God's forgiveness for us. God's constant pursuit of us. God's love. It hit me more than it had ever hit me in my entire life! Listening to the interview, I loved how the perception of Michael's love was that of God's. God IS love and He gives, extending it to us ALWAYS. In the book, it spoke about How God is the one who presses and tears and mends us back together, then we move forward, IN HIM. In Him we are truely made WHOLE! I knew this, but God knew I needed to hear it again. I give thanks to God because I know He has never left me. That in my hurt, frustration, unforgiveness for myself and shame, He always supported me. He gave me amazing parents and an amazing husband that supported me as well in this season, and siblings that have supported me along with them through other seasons before this one. Regardless of me continuing, to analyze everything I have said and done, even now. I had been in a good place, a great place before this new pressing started. It has been so hard for me, in what feels like FOREVER in the wilderness. I am still not sure if I am out of it. Honestly, I wonder if we ever come out of the wilderness. I never thought I would be in this place with myself again, but I know in my heart, this is necessary. I will continue to pursue God and rest in Him knowing that HIS WILL, will be done in my life, as it is done in all of our lives. I will trust in the Lord with all my heart and lean NOT on my own understanding. I am excited for God building in me something that, though I don't understand it now, I am excited to see it! I am excited to see where He will take me! 💚🥰🙏🏾🕊

I loved the conversations the characters had with Jesus. This book perfectly depicted the love God has for us & how He shows up through His good & faithful servants & the Lord’s pursuit for His children. <3

An amazing God centered book 

I listen to this book in 2 days hanging on every word some times it would bring me to tears and others I would fall on my knees in disbelief this is by far my favorite book (spoiler) it has a happy ending. This book is well written has a wonderful creative story, it has adult content things like “ prostitutes, and rape” but it is all sed leaving everything to the imagination no gory details but still may be uncomfortable to watch with parents lol almost everything is implied but most of all my favorite part is the God centered  relationships setting a wonderful example this book can also show you the beauties of marriage and how pure and God centered it can be I think it is a wonderful book and by far one of the best!!!!!!

Absolutely amazing!

This was the first book I’ve listened to from this author and it was so beautiful! Such a wonderful story. I wish it would have never ended!

it was a slow start for me, emotionally disturbing at times but once I let myself into the story , I couldn't stop listening!!

The love Story

Amazing book. Loved every word! Reminds me of just how strong Gods love is for us.

Captivating from the first word to the end!

This book was a recommendation from a pastor I had just met who shared his tsstimony and then said someone in the room needed to hear it. That someone was me. I told him my recent life struggles and within a minute he paused, prayed over me and my needs, then suggested this book. I started listening to it on Audible every chance I was in the car. I would apply some of the lessons I was being taught as the story was unfolding. I can honestly say, just finishing the interview at the end with Francine Rivers, that God blessed her in writing this book and it will be a generational blessing for my family and many others!

I thoroughly enjoyed this!

Very well written and touching story. I’ve read this in the Bible but it was nice seeing it come to life in more detail.
