This was a cute very short story at times very funny. There are lessons to be learn here do not over think yourself, be careful when you do press the button, always have your equipment checked over and make sure it is in good working order. The author gives you some very good characters one wanting power and is willing to die to get it and the other just wanting to live on his little planet.

Mr. White as narrator blows it out of the water, it is a shame this is so short I really got into his voices and then it was over. His characters are well thought out with many different tones that make this a delight to listen. I found myself laughing not so much at the story but the voices he came up with. He really is a very talented narrator. This might be short but it gives the narrator just enough time to really show off his talents and just what he can do with his voices. I would enjoy listening to some a little longer to really get the full effect he brings to the listen.

The author does have a great plot with action in this short little read. I think it would have been better if it had been longer. For the type of story it was really a great little story he packs a lot into just a few minutes. There isn’t a lot you can say without giving the story away so I will just give you the authors summary.

Cute at times funny listen

Aside literally laughing out loud at the Emperor sounding like Dr Claw from Inspector Gadget, I enjoyed this short. Can't wait to hear the rest of the story.

Good short

After reading/listening to the other Antigravel short stories, I ended up here looking for more. I'm guessing this was the first in the series, and to me, it's the roughest.

Firstly, it comes across more scifi geek with overly corny/obvious jokes and nods than it has to (like the name of the ship, really toll-your-eyes corny -- it was the same in the "Spaceship goes to die" story, but it at least felt more self-aware than here where the author seems to be trying to elicit a snort or two from a highschool audience). Secondly, unlike the other two Antigravel stories, there's no real point here. There's no clever twist, nothing to make you go AHA and ponder a bit... Just B movie Syfy channel plot and humor.

The narrator, while good, did little to reign things in and even made it a bit cringe-worthy at times with how he fully embraced it all.

Not a horrible tale, but easily forgettable and no where near the level of the other 2 after it.

Geekier than I would've liked

If you could sum up Press Any Key to Destroy the Galaxy in three words, what would they be?

Hoisted own petard

What does Steve White bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

To me the voices were overdone and I could not understand what some of the characters were trying to communicate.

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

This book had me laughing from start to finish

A thousand year seige
