The murder of Krista Carmichael’s 14-year-old sister by an online predator has shaken her faith and made her question God’s justice and protection. Desperate to find the killer, she creates an online persona to bait the predator. But when the stalker turns his sights on her, will Krista be able to control the outcome?
Ryan Adkins started the social network GrapeVyne in his college dorm and has grown it into a billion-dollar corporation. But he never expected it to become a stalking ground for online predators. One of them lives in his town and has killed two girls and attacked a third. When Ryan meets Krista, the murders become more than a news story to him, and everything is on the line.
Joining forces, he and Krista set out to stop the killer. But when hunters pursue a hunter, the tables can easily turn. Only God can protect them now.

Predator was a fast moving and well written book. Terri Blackstock has manage to write about a serious subject using a fictional story with life like characters. I was absolutely captavitated by this audio book. I found it to be entertaining and yet educational. I will be purchasing several copies of Predator to give to my daughter and her friends. This is a book that every teenager and young adult should read. I really appreciated the comments that Terri Blackstock wrote at the end and the scriptures that she referenced. Admittedly I found myself tearfully asking the LORD to forgive me for whinning. I plan to purchase more of Terri Blackstock's audio books. Thank you Terri Blackstock !
There is hope for Christian fiction!
The story is suspenseful and relevant. It also does credit to Mystery by not having the ending COMPLETELY obvious. (It's still fairly easy to figure out, but there are some 'false clues' that make it feel more realistic.) The romance is understated and well-written. The characters are interesting, and I found Krista's struggle with doubt refreshing compared to most books in this genre.
The reader did an excellent job, too.
I thought this was a very good book. It is a great book to help inform people about the dangers of the internet. I would recommend this book for young people to read, or listen to. People are too trusting and give too much information out on the internet.
It was packed full of action and suspense! Great book. Held my attention.
double and triple 5 stars. I hope every parent and teen will read this book. Thanks to Zondervan and Audible for audio.
Its an okay story that might get people to think about some of the reasons to be somewhat cautious about what one posts on social networks. What bothers me is the Christian religious overtones in the plot line. Not that its a bad thing, its just that I would like to know if a book has this religious integration BEFORE I purchase it.
I pray and go to church every Sunday. I would have liked a little more warning of the nature of this book, however. I guess I like my serial killers and religion, like church and state, separated.
Every teenaged or college student and very parent should be made to read this book.
I enjoyed the book, couldn't "put" it down. I also learned so much about Internet safety.
