I've been curious about this popular author. This book demonstrated very POOR storyline, and would be appropriate only for readers with too much time on their hands. A monkey that pours himself coffee, watches TV, flips people the bird....all totally gratuitous. The protagonist is absurd and trivial. Men are stereotypes...huge huge hunks or snivelers. I will avoid any other books by this author.
I enjoyed this story more than the other non-numeric named books. Absurd story with crazy characters woven together quite well.
I laught so hard at this story I started crying. It may start out slow, but when it gets going, you will laught so hard you will hurt. When I came to the end of the book I had to go back an listen to it again!!!!
excellent reading, but the story, though easy to follow is weak and has no value after ends.
may be nice "flight book"
I loved this book! Loralie King is a fantastic narrator, and she makes the book come alive! I enjoyed every minute of it. Janet Evanovich is completely entertaining. I only wish it was longer!
The Plum Series have always been a favorite read of mine. Ever year when a new book would come out everyone at work fought over who was going to read it next. However I have been a little disappoint with the last couple of Plum Book; they are just not funny anymore. I feel like Janet Evanovich is forced to write these books too fast for the a quick buck - time to retire the series time for Stephanie to just get married.
Love the Stephanie Plum series which is even better on audiobook due to the brilliant narration of Lorelei King! Janet Evanovich thinks up the most interesting, eclectic new characters and "Plum Spooky" has some of her best yet! Hilarious!
