Kurt Vonnegut's first novel spins the chilling tale of engineer Paul Proteus, who must find a way to live in a world dominated by a supercomputer and run completely by machines. Paul's rebellion is vintage Vonnegut - wildly funny, deadly serious, and terrifyingly close to reality.

Classics, history, historical fiction, marketing, Napoleonic stuff and of course 'Boys own Adventure'. This is my bent. Occasional self help as well.
What a great book. Loved Christian Rummels reading and his change of voice is excellent. The book makes you think although we all know it isn't the machines now days that we should be worried about, but rather the computers. Never the less, the sacrifice of humanity for production is shown to be self defeating. An excellent book.
