I knew I wouldn't be disappointed

I wasn't going to download this book because all my friends think I need to take a break on Mr. Weber and need to expand my author list but who cares what they say I had faith in my man Carl. I was not at all disappointed and knew that I wouldn't be. This is the story of Will and Dianne but please make sure you listen to Married Men first to get a feel for these characters. I thought I was a Player at one point in my life but after I heard this book I see my Player ways had nothing on Trent's player ways he was a true player. The narator's did an excellent job playing their roles in this story and the ending had me ready for more action and had me wondering what happened next and mad that they would leave me hanging like that. WHY WHY WHY...lol This was a pretty good book and made meunderstand what it means when people say KARMA is a Mutha***** and when it's time for PAYBACK expect the worse and expect to learn your lesson from it. I think this was a good book all in all.

The book that put Weber on my favorite author list

What did you love best about Player Hater?

This book takes off fast paced right from the beginning, making you love and know the characters from the beginning

What did you like best about this story?

The ending

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

The narration was a strong point for me

Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?

It made me laugh out loud ....but it touched my brother as being very deep...so I guess it depends on the reader

Any additional comments?

highly recommend...Weber is the prince of drama

Read "Married Men" first!

Anyone reading this book first would think the Diane character was a saint. But in Weber's "Married Men", you see that she's come full circle from villian to victim. Will played a lesser role in the first book, so I didn't expect him to get a spinoff, but he was definitely a wise choice. Loved the plot twists and interweaving of new characters like Will's brother who had a storyline of his own. Excellent work on the book and the production. This one was hard to put down! Part 3, Mr. Weber?

Great Book!

I thought Carl Weber did a great job on this book. I love the fact that there are different narrator's it kept the book interesting. This book kept my attention. The only thing I would say that I didn't like was some of the story lines are a little far fetched. I love Melanie character I hope that one day I meet a prince like that. If you are looking for an easy read and something to keep your attention this is the book for you.

Dry Mouth

The narrator for the character Will needs a glass of water or something. The sounds of his lips smacking and him swallowing makes it hard for me to listen. He reads perfectly, great emotion and giving life to the characters. But the heavy breathing and lip smacking and swallowing is awful!!!!!!!
Story is a great read tho lol

Trent Storyline

Although Will and Mel storylines were great, Trent story stood out to me the most. He was a major player that got what he deserved and I was happy with that. I wished it wasn’t a cliffhanger at the end but it still gave you a pretty good idea what happened after Trent found out.

Good story

Unlike most of Carl Weber’s books. I can’t say there were any real surprises in this book. I saw the twists coming long before they were revealed. But even with that, I enjoyed the book. I liked the characters, even though they all made some pretty ridiculous decisions. And Trent…OMG. He was trash. Real trash. And though I know he was True TRASH, his story line kept me interested in the book.
The narrators were okay, but I do agree with other reviewers about the man who voiced Will. There was just too much saliva going on.
All in all, a good listen.

good story but.....

the person who voices Will drove my ears crazy!! its like he was chewing through the whole thing!
it was very hard to not skip his chapters.
but the story was very good that i hung in there. But please " Will" dont chew through your next narration.
