Featuring a lovable cast of new and familiar characters, Out to Canaan proves once again why Mitford is one of the most memorable small towns in recent literature.
Don't miss out on the rest of Father Tim's adventures in Mitford.

I love this series of books and enjoy these positive stories. John McDonough once again brought Fr Tim and all the Mitford crowd to life beautifully. A pleasure.
John McDonough brings the Mitford series to life with his rich and engaging narration. I have enjoyed this and each previous recording in the collection. My only complaint is the editing, which often jumps from one paragraph to the next without a pause jarring you from the flow of the narration.
I love all of Jan Karon's books in this series. I have read all of then at least 3 times and listened to them on audio once or twice. Heaven will be just like Mitford- with out the pain of course. Perfection

Yes I have more than 3 times
Understanding Father Tim's upcoming retirement and understanding is on off feelings about it
A familiar voice
I have followed Jan Karon's Father Tim series and I feel comfortable with the stories. I have reread them all. I didn't like the change of the narrator in the next series so I only listen twice to them. One gets comfortable with the narrator even though he might not be the best
I am sure to return to this book again and again. Karon is an expert at creating memorable, quirky, lovable characters that never cease to delight and amuse.. I have some of the books in this series on CD and have listened to them several times over the years. They never get old!
John McDonough is the perfect reader--sounds just like Father Tim in my imagination
Yes, I would recommend this book. I am hooked and cannot wait to see what happens to everyone next!
Just other Jan Karon Mitford books. I just love them. Father Tim, Cynthia & Dooley are part of the family now!
Just others in this series. He is great & so believable. I love when there are songs. He sings them wonderfully.
Yes...all of the above!
Just eager to see what else happens... :)
I love the narator, father Tim really appriciates some of the things we take for granted. I love when the narator sings.
Rescueing people and helping others.
A member of the story finally accepts Christ.
If you want a story that is wholesome, funny and all around great fun, this is for you. All I can say is Enjoy!!
"All things TOEFL"
Hope and human fraility are shown in the lives of the characters. Father Tim and his neighbors represent the good and bad in each of us and leave listener/readers feeling salvageable, despite all our weaknesses.
