Featuring a lovable cast of new and familiar characters, Out to Canaan proves once again why Mitford is one of the most memorable small towns in recent literature.
Don't miss out on the rest of Father Tim's adventures in Mitford.

I love this series of books and enjoy these positive stories. John McDonough once again brought Fr Tim and all the Mitford crowd to life beautifully. A pleasure.
John McDonough brings the Mitford series to life with his rich and engaging narration. I have enjoyed this and each previous recording in the collection. My only complaint is the editing, which often jumps from one paragraph to the next without a pause jarring you from the flow of the narration.
I love all of Jan Karon's books in this series. I have read all of then at least 3 times and listened to them on audio once or twice. Heaven will be just like Mitford- with out the pain of course. Perfection
Coffee, chocolate, happy endings, triumph of the human spirit, non-sense in a serious world, stories to share with grandchildren.
I read the first three books then became an audible member and picked up where I left off with this book. Even better when John McDonough reads to me in the car, and before bed.
Listening to John McDonough read Jan Karon's books about Mitford is like taking a mini vacation! Ready for another one.
I started the series because my Mom loves the books. I listen to BOT nightly and have done for years. I am on the 4th book and every time I start to listen it's like coming home. Mom and I will be on the phone and I'll say "well, I've got to get off and go to Mitford now. Wonderful, subtlety witty series that's PERFECTLY PERFORMED by John McDonough. Write more Mitford, Ms. Karon, More, More!!!

Yes I have more than 3 times
Understanding Father Tim's upcoming retirement and understanding is on off feelings about it
A familiar voice
I have followed Jan Karon's Father Tim series and I feel comfortable with the stories. I have reread them all. I didn't like the change of the narrator in the next series so I only listen twice to them. One gets comfortable with the narrator even though he might not be the best
