So she jumps at the chance to review a pseudoscientific book that promises life everlasting. Publisher's Summary

Meg Carpenter is broke. Her novel is years overdue. Her cell phone is out of minutes. And her moody boyfriend’s only contribution to the household is his sour attitude. So she jumps at the chance to review a pseudoscientific book that promises life everlasting.

Consulting cosmology and physics, tarot cards, koans (and riddles and jokes), new-age theories of everything, narrative theory, Nietzsche, Baudrillard, and knitting patterns, Meg wends her way through Our Tragic Universe, asking this and many other questions. Does she believe in fairies? In magic? Is she living a storyless story? Smart and entrancing, Our Tragic Universe is an audiobook about how relationships are created and destroyed, how we can rewrite our futures (if not our histories), and how stories just might save our lives.

"uhhm i think i missed something"

I'm not quite sure what happened with this book. I some how kept thinking something was going to happen. When the story ended, I literally asked my husband to get off the computer, because I had to download the last part of my book. To my surprise, I had already heard the whole thing. There was no third part.
Maybe this book was the Storyless Story, that is mentioned severaI times.
I became a fan of Scarlet thomas when I read "The End of Mr. Y" (Which was brilliant by the way, but not yet available on audible.com) I am most disapointed, but then again I blame myself because all the clues where there and I continued to listen. I really have an empty feeling at the end of re... err listening to this book.
