Extraordinary writing!
This books is as exceptional as “This Tender Land,” also written. Y William Kent Krueger. I gobbled it up! And the narration was excellent!

Great Story - Wonderful Narration
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I have recommended this book to family and friends. I thought it was well-written and very touching. I loved this book! Rich Orlow did a fantastic job with the narration.
Did the plot keep you on the edge of your seat? How?
I wouldn't say I was on the edge of my seat, and I had a pretty good idea of how the mystery would end - But I was thoroughly entertained nonetheless. I was so sad when it ended!

Lovely listen
This was the first book I've listened to by this author, and it was well worth the credit.
The narration was great too. It was a thought provoking tale of death and life as viewed by a young boy. I felt a real emotional connection, it was a plausible story. I enjoyed the slow pace of the book, it suited the time and place and allowed for contemplation. Worth while checking this one out.

Great book
This is one of the best books I've ever read. The plot thickens as the story moves along taking lots of twists & turns along the way. I laughed & cried throughout the whole book.
It made such an impact on me that I'll have to take a little time off before moving picking up another book.
