Loved the whole storyline.
This was a definite surprise from Baldacci's normal storyline. Loved it tremendously. The struggle of Jack as he moves throughout each stage of life, death, loneliness, grief, single parenthood, and so much more. A great read.

Best Book Read in 2021
To all the Audible Listeners, One Summer should be a Must Listen to, as one of your Audible purchases! My work involves a lot of driving, but I never wanted to get out of my car, and couldn’t wait to get back in to start listening where I left off. You will personally identify with many of the characters, or know someone who reminds you of them, as the storyline connects us in so many ways to family, bereavement, teenage behavior, and Love. This is the first time I have written a full review after listening to over one hundred books. It’s also a perfect time to purchase this book, as the setting in the beginning takes place right before Christmas. Enjoy!

Awesome book!
Mr. Baldacci thank you for writing this amazing story. I read, and have almost all of the books written by this author and loved them all; however, this book touched my heart. It is a tearjerker and I cried through until the end.
In my opinion the performance and production was good easy to follow each character in the storyline.
