What made the experience of listening to Never Too Late the most enjoyable?

The storyline was wonderful, believable...and I really got into the characters - especially Jaime. I appreciated the tough subject of difficulty in marriage, and loved how the author was able to make me want so many conflicting things for the main characters - just like they were feeling.

What other book might you compare Never Too Late to and why?

Nothing comes to mind. I have to say that this book is rather unique in its storyline and characters.

What about Hollis Elizabeth’s performance did you like?

The narrator did a great job with different voices and accents. Her reading allowed me to really get into the story.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

There were so many moving moments that it's hard to pick just one. However, if I had to pick, it would be when Jaime decides to take a turn towards Santa Cruz...and hang out there for the night. There was such a wonderful, freeing emotional release in that scene.

Any additional comments?

Highly recommended.

I really enjoyed the story and was pulled on the journey with Jaime realizing what she wanted in life. I was anticipating when she would realize how much she loved Carly. Their reunion was sweet. And I didn't want it to end. I really enjoy Hollis Elizabeth narration, she describes the scenes so well that you feel you're watching the characters.

I really struggled in the beginning to the point I almost stopped listening. I just couldn't catch on to the narrator. I really put in an effort to keep listening, but was pleasantly surprised that I really enjoyed it when all was said and done. I guess I just got used to the narrator.
