With a unique style, Noire tantalizes readers with erotic tales and wildly entertaining urban dramas. Featuring one of her most unforgettable characters, Natural Born Liar follows the escapades of Mink LaRue - straight out of Harlem and looking to take a big step up in life. Mink’s got a taste for fine living, and when her resemblance to a missing oil heiress gives her an opportunity to take up residence in a 20-room mansion, you better believe she’s going to jump at the chance.

I would recommend with reservations.I started listening to the book a few times. I did not like it. After several attempts, and several chapters into the book, I gained some interest and wanted to see it through. In summary, I thought it was good book. I felt incomplete at the end as if the book didn't come to a conclusion, but it never mentions a part 2. I can only assume there would be a part 2.If I knew it would end the way it did, then I would not have read it unless part 2 was already available and published.
This was the first one. For the character to be from New York, the reader read the book with a strong southern accent. i just thought that to be odd.
Needs a new title. The title of the book is a definite turn off.
I loved this book from beginning to End it was quite different from Noire other books.
First time listening to this narrrator but she definitely did this book justice.
Good book and story, some of the slang words and phrases were pronounced incorrectly. And maybe it's just my being on the West Coast, but where I'm at, "yay" is not something you smoke. (Well it's possible I suppose lol but I think they are referring to dro, lol)
I love the voice for Bunny... It bugs me up. This reminds me of one of my fav. movies, B.A.P.S, but with a twist. The itch of her left titty is hilarious and imagining how Peaches would look is funny too.
I love Noire! I like the plot but I was often distracted by the horrible accent the narrator was doing. Also the over the top Rachetness of Bunny didn't make sense if she was planning to fool the family. With that being said I loved all the other characters and I loved the twists especially at the very end!
Started my own bookclub in 2007 and have been expanding my book list ever since.
Loved the main character's name and how everybody was able to remain fly, rich or poor. I couldn't really picture the elaborate surrounds mixing with the street minds of some of the family though. Plenty of erotica and various parts was too gutter for me.
