I AM HOOKED!!!

I could not stop reading this book! Actually, I finished it in one day and have already bought the next five books! About to start book 2 now!!!

Wow

I in no way expected to like this book as much as I did. It hooked me from beginning to end. Very well thought out characters, a fascinating world, and a heartfelt look at being white trash.

I didn't want to love this

I am not a zombie person. I also needed to start another series, like i needed a hole in the head, but this was fun, it was exciting and fresh. I really enjoyed listening to this and once I get through my to read list, I will be reading book 2.
The narrator is awesome and the story keeps you on your toes. I love that the heroine is growing as a person with the story.

best damn series ever!

I started the series in paperback in highschool so when I heard it was on audible I race here quick as a whip, and let me tell you! the emotion the voice gives to every word is stunning, its like I'm holding the book is my hands again!

Great Storyline and Narration

I love Angel Crawford's character and how quick witted the humor is. Great series to get into if you are looking for something longer than just one book.

Great narrator, fun story

Horror and undead stories are not my thing, but it sounded fun. Yes, it was fun. The main character is inaccurately portrayed on all the books' covers (don't judge a book by its cover, I guess.) The narrator was fantastic, and the story was entertaining. Light and fluffy, maybe. There is a lot of swearing.

So much fun

Nice little twist on the zombie motif. I was rooting for the main character the whole time. Theres murders to solve, brains to steal, rules to learn...undeadness really got her on track. Narrator was perfect.

Hordes of fun

Not gonna lie, this reminded me of iZombie (netflix) with Rose McIver, but only because Angel also winds up working in the ME’s office. She doesn’t see images from the people’s lives whose brains she eats, she doesn’t take on their personalities or quirks, she is 100% Angel, and that’s fabulous. Initially I bought this thinking it would be one of the last Audible books I listened too, and went back to my kindle unlimited library with renewed vigor, but after listening to most of the book in one day, I knew i wouldn’t be satisfied with that. I’ve purchased the next two books in the series with no regret. Narration is good, story is great, great idea. Loved it. I think even if you don’t like zombies you might like this.

The best!

This is my new favorite series of all time. It's funny, heartwarming, crazy, and very human. Once you read book 1, you won't be able to stop until you've finished them all. The writing is great, and the narrator is amazing. I'd give it ten stars if I could!

Finally -- a Zombie to Love

Incredibly interesting zombie premise with a strong lead female. The narrator is fantastic and the story brisk and very entertaining. This introduction to the series is very fun.
