the beginning and what a start it is.

the first time I read this story I knew I was a fan of Eriks. I was so excited when I realized this book was only the beginning of the journey through a world I've grown so fond of. its a compelling and tender story of so much strength and love and how those things weave together to form a beautiful relationship and wonderful people. I was glad to see an audible version of the book and although I may have a first found the narration a little difficult to get into I was pleasantly surprised and found that the narration made this a more enjoyable book.

The book that started the phenomenon .

In the beginning there was Mandy and Ana, we could have never guessed what the wonderful world of MUSIC OF THE SOUL could truly turn out to be. For some people it is a good escape, for some fans its a nice place to visit but for others it is a home away from home.
THANK YOU MR. SCHUBACH

A Nice Twist That Partially Delivers

Mandy Harris; rock 'n' roll's bad girl comes home with a big secret and a determination to live a different life. Instantly she meets the girl of her dreams; sickeningly sweet platitudes ensue. then of course the relationship is ripped asunder by that familiar combination of misunderstanding and miscommunication and as Mandy heaps abuse on herself she goes back to the bottle; then back on tour, but she has been changed.
The scenes from the road are well written and ring true. While still portraying Mandy's growth there is no devolving into the cliches that encumber Mandy's inner thoughts and her dialogue concerning Bella. Her ability to have extended contact with both the masses and the press while avoiding learning anything about what's going on in the town or the girl she left behind strains credulity. Seriously how hard would it have been for just one person to say "Mandy the stories they're talking about; they aren't what you think. However this does set up the one of the classic cliches of lesbian romance where once again it devolves into smarmy saccharine inner dialogue.
For all this I found myself loving the people in this story, the couple and the warm feelings engendered by the author for the characters and the book. This was an excellent listen and I won't hesitate to purchase the next book in the series.

Awesome =)

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is the first time I use an audio book and I can definitely say I can recommend the experience. By listening to the story you get a new perspective and even get to experience emotions that when you only read the book you might have even missed. I was able to just close my eyes and go on the wonderful journey the story brings us.

What did you like best about this story?

I actually liked everything about the book, the characters dept and development, the way the story evolved and simply pulls you in. I laugh and I cried, it was a complete reading experience.

Any additional comments?

One thing I love about this author is that you are able to actually enjoy the book, see the characters growth, their way of thinking and you are able to simply be part of a wonderfully constructed universe. (well maybe more than one thing lol) oh and simply the idea that you get what you pay for, if its a romance book you wont get erotica and porn with a bit of "romance" in between, you actually get romance, a story, character development and simply enjoyment.

An amazing ride

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

I purchased this book after reading the reviews, and it sounded similar to another book i enjoyed

What other book might you compare Music of the Soul to and why?

It does remind me a little of Dangerously Close, by Dee J. Adams another author i enjoyed listening to.

Which scene was your favorite?

To not spoil the book i have to say the first voice mail she listens to...

Who was the most memorable character of Music of the Soul and why?

Temping to say Anabella - shes an amazingly strong and amusing character, but i definitly have to say Mandy herself, shes exceptionally well rounded and being in her head was definitly alot of fun

Any additional comments?

For any Scifi Fans i strongly reccomend Return of the Asgard by Erik Schubach as well i definitly hope to see more of this authors works on audible in the near future - worth every dollar in my book

Fantastic start to this series.

I have been reading books by this author for some time and I have loved this series from the beginning. Pamela really brings the characters to life. While this series is mainly just different stories with connected characters for the most part you will feel as though with every book you learn just one more part of the whole of this world.

Amazing

This devil of an Author never fails to keep me completely wrapped up in the world of his characters. I am completely in love with his writing. This book made me laugh, cry, cheer, and get angry. I loved the emotional roller coaster ride. I can't wait to read more.

Not a bad story.

Yes,I did struggle to finish this. The story was fine.I guess I should say the ideal for the story was fine. I found the writing rather boring. I think in the hands of another it could have been better written. The narrative was not so great. Sounded like a 13 year old girl. On the other hand she didn't have the greatest writing to work with. Probably not her fault. Overall disappointing.
