A lady's reputation is a fragile thing. If anyone ever discovered that Miss Elizabeth Bennet had received a letter from a single gentleman, she could be ruined...or forced to marry a man she detests. In this Pride & Prejudice variation, Elizabeth takes the safer course and refuses to read Mr. Darcy's letter of explanation. Returning home unaware of Wickham's true nature, Elizabeth confesses everything to him, putting both Mr. Darcy and herself in grave danger from Wickham's schemes.

I love all of Abigail Reynolds books, read them all more than once. I was thrilled to hear they are coming to audio. It is always a little scary when a beloved story is read by an unknown voice but Pearl Hewitt did not disappoint, her narration was spot on for the characters as well as the level of emotion each one deserves. I listen to audiobooks while driving to and from work as well as walking and at the gym, this stroy had me not wanting to stop. Whether you like P&P characters, regency story lines or just a great book, Mr Darcy's Letter will fit the bill quite nicely!
Say something about yourself!
Incredible book & performance! Ms Hewitt made the well developed characters blossom into real live beings. I was engaged from start to finish, never wanting to turn off the fun. I felt as though I was there with all these fantastic men and women; how can they all be voiced by one person?! The worst part of the book was once it was done and there was no more magic to hear! I will most definitely be looking forward to more books from Ms Reynolds and hearing Ms. Hewitt make the words jump off the page and into reality!
Another of Abigail Reynolds lovely stories. Entertaining and witty. Highly recommend this book to anyone that loves fanfiction. I have read it several times.
The narrator has an easy to listen to voice, but I noticed that she tried to do different voices for the different characters. That would have been fine but she kept falling out of character and it became distracting. Would have preferred if she didn't even try to do different characters. It made listening to the story irritating.
Vet-Tech @ Kissimmee Animal Hospital, Mortal Instrument, Twilight kinda books are what I love.. and quilting/knitting gal group stories.
Up there in the top 10
The fainting couch holly crow... Didn't see that coming,

No the title is fine
You know I read P&P every year thanksgivins for as long as I can remember I just turned the big 50 and I wanted to have it in audio and I found this book, and holly crow!
I'm so glad I did, I always wanted more, more of Mr.Darcy and Izzy, more and in this book I got way more.. I truly love it.
This was an excellent listen! As I listened I could see the characters come to life, hear the heartbeats and fill the emotions. This audio came alive!
Mr. Darcy was my favorite character because he knew what he want and kept going after the love of his life in a positive and mature way. I also got a behind the scene look at what the letter meant and it made the movie more vivid.
All of the emotions that went into her readings made the characters really came alive!
Mr. Darcy was the most memorable because he reminded me of how most women would like to be pursued.
I love the movie "Pride and Prejudice", I then read "Mr. Darcy's Letter" and now I am going to begin "Mr. Darcy Takes a Wife" . I am so looking forward to this read.
