In return for regular 'wifely duties', Ray offers Jenny and her three children sanctuary at his house in Melbourne. For a time, she is happy. But then Jenny's father - the philandering impresario Archie Foote - storms back into her world and chaos reigns again. "A truly great read."

I read the first two books of this trilogy in hard copy and was thrilled to be able to download the third. What a brilliant story. Having been brought up in Box Hill I enjoyed the references to this and nearby suburbs. The use of coloquial Australian language made it more familiar.
