Publisher's summary

New York Times bestselling authors Lisa Jackson, Wendy Corsi Staub, and Beverly Barton join forces to create a thrilling novel about love, revenge, and the dark secrets three women hold to a terrifying murder....

A Killer Who Gets Away With Murder Once...

It's been twenty years since the night Jake Marcott was brutally murdered at St. Elizabeth High School. It's a night that shattered the lives of Lindsay Farrell, Kirsten Daniels, and Rachel Alsace. It's a night they'll never forget. A killer will make sure of that....

Finds It Easier To Kill Again...

A 20-year reunion has been scheduled for St. Elizabeth's. For some alumni, very special invitations have been sent: their smiling senior pictures slashed by an angry red line....

And Again....And Again....

Three women have been marked for death. Tonight, as the music plays, and the doors of St. Elizabeth are sealed, a killer will finish what was started long ago, and the sins of the past will be paid for in blood....

Worst narrator

This book might have been good if it had had a different narrator. Worst one I have heard yet.

Not good

I couldn't even finish listening to this book, it was that bad. Hours of my day I can't get back. I wanted to give it NO stars but it won't let me submit my review without giving it one star.

Difficult to enjoy

The narrator's voice was a bit grating. I had great difficulty paying attention to the story, which was pretty good, when I could focus on it.

Interesting concept, characters were pathetic.

The story line was lagging. For the age that these characters were supposed to be they were the most insecure pathetic people. I was starting to root for the killer, I had it figured out before I finished part one. Too many holes in the story line.

If you're a teenager you might enjoy this

What disappointed you about Most Likely to Die?

All the characters felt like they were stuck in high school, from their emotions to their maturity level. The "killer" was just ridiculous and annoying. I don't know who it is, because I couldn't even make it halfway through the book.

Would you ever listen to anything by the authors again?

Possibly singularly, not as a group.

Would you listen to another book narrated by Amy McFadden?

Yes, she wasn't bad, she just didn't have much to work with.

Any additional comments?

It felt to me like having three authors destroyed the continuity of the story. I didn't make it to the third, but the second seemed to throw in a couple important characters from the past just to advance the story, even though they had never been mentioned by the first author.

Good Read.

Good read. The narrator was kind of annoying but other than that I enjoyed it. I guessed who did it before the end , as I'm sure most of you will too.

fair

Overall, an interesting mystery that had me guessing until about two thirds into story, then I figured it out, but the romances were just plain corny. I had to roll my eyes several times. It was like the main "mystery story" and the romances were just thrown in and didn't blend well. This was not one of my favorites by L.J.

Good story... narration only ok

The story was actually pretty good but the narrator failed to give a distinctive sound to the main female characters & consistency was a problem. For instance, the character Rachel was from Chatanooga, Tennessee & then lived in Alabama. People in either area have a fairly strong southern accent. Sometimes the narrator used a very mild accent, occasionally a stronger accent, but mostly none at all. There should have at the very least been consistency. It really kills the flow when you can't help but notice these things :(
