Nationally best-selling author Niobia Bryant lays down smooth and sexy fiction for her adoring fans. Here, four friends must deal with a shocking betrayal from within their group.
Jaime, Renee, Aria, and Jessa have stuck together through it all. But the group is stunned when Jessa texts the other three a confession regarding an affair with someone’s husband—and she won’t reveal whose man she’s been sleeping with. Now, with rumors flying and innuendo rampant, the three remaining friends must pull together or risk losing their bond forever.

I'll be fair and say this book kept me wanting to hurry and get to the end so I could find out whose husband was the cheater! I couldn't wait for it all to come together and make sense at the end. Needless to say, I never found out. After having to listen to an overwhelming amount of very graphic "love" scenes that seemed to take up the majority of the book (and yes, I like a "love" scene EVERY ONCE IN AWHILE but this was ridiculous), the author leaves us hanging in the end. I got to the point where I'd roll my eyes when ANOTHER love scene started up. I would speed through it just so I could hear more of the actual story. When the narrator said "The End" at the end of the book I wanted to throw my phone out the window b/c I was so mad I'd sat through the entire book waiting to find out who did it in the end. This would have been a much better book if it would have had some closure. But you are left wondering with no real clues even to help you guess. Ughhh...very mad. And I feel like I need a shower to wash away all the filth.
How many times do you use the word "huskily"? I found it incredibly annoying.
And I'm starting to get annoyed with black writers playing emphasis on the same things: skin complexion, long hair, and the constant mention of brands.
The story idea is interesting but the ending is a let down.
Great story line. The end left me with more questions than answers. You will definitely pick up part two after this.
Soozi Cheyenne's performance was not that great. It sounded like she was smacking most of the time.
I would definitely take Jackson to dinner. He sounds sexy as hell!
The people were very real!!!
Mistress no more
Yes she was great
I wouldn't change it...:...
Very much enjoyed!!!!!
It you don't like...change it!
This story got better as it went on. At first...I was kinda into it but kept listening cause I wanted to know who's husband it was. Then as it slowly got better the end left me hanging cause I had to find out what was next...so I quickly purchased the second book.
This story goes up and down, up and down. Meaning it slow for a minute....then it's good....then slow again...then you like OMG, this is good. Overall good story...but don't be surprise it you start like..."ok, not sure if I'm gonna like this."
I have listened to other books by Niobia Bryant and listened to Soozi Cheyenne and have enjoyed them.
I will try something else. This particular story was so long and drawn out and was all over the place. It was hard to get into the story.
It seemed to me that the book was drawn out where things should have progressed and or shifted a bit.
it was but i dont feel like this story needed three books
upset....i guess that is all i can say...LOL
i think this was patricia R Floyd so I am kind of confused
it had to have one because of the way it ended
The title caught my eye and every spoken word from this book kept me listening
I liked the way each charater's life was explained in detail on why they were there in eacg chapter
I enjoyed the way Renee and Aria were portrayed
The realistic emotions that the characters went thru after the feeling of betrayal.
I love her narration; she keeps the story moving.
