Awesome

I loved this book - the best one I have ever listened to! The reader was perfect for this book. I highly recommend it.

Very surprising ending

I really did like this book although I thinks parts of it dragged on. The narration was superb. It is so sad an the ending was not what I thought at all. I really recommend this book.

Wow!

This was one of the best audible books. Made my heart pound. The narration was wonderful. Makes a person realize the many children who have to live a life of terror.

What did you love best about Me & Emma?

This book brings you into the life of an 8 year old, dealing with issues that no child should have to face. She is so innocent, but as the reader be prepared to be outraged, to cry and to laugh. I really enjoyed the narrators voice, she does a fabulous job. I think this book will stay with me for a long time. I finished it this morning, and it has been on my mind all day.

Excellent Story!

The narrator of this book was one of the best parts. She had me "from hello!" I couldn't "put it down" and was sad to hit the end.

The actual story, although touching on dark points, didn't dwell, allowing the reader to experience the true triumph of a child's will to SURVIVE and THRIVE. Flock's ability to tap into the child' perspective allowed the reader to transcend the darkness and feel her imagination and goodness of spirit.

I won't provide any spoilers, but the ending is even better than the beginning. It completely caught me off-guard. I loved "Scary Carrie" from start to finish.

Wait for the ending

I thought this was a good book, but figured it was one that just moseyed along. When I finished reading the book though, my opinion changed. I will not divulge anything, but just say it was thought provoking. It's a must read.

Interesting read...great surprise ending

This book seemed like it would have a semi-predictable storyline but the twist at the end really made it a thought provoking book. I definitely recommend it.

wonderful piece of work

I love it. the twists are hidden well. I had to read this again to make sure I'm on the right track. this book is tremendously one of the best plotted stories ever. !!!

A Must Read..

No hesitations here...this book is great! And the end! It's quite a twister...I enjoyed this book from the first page to the last...although you can't help but to be saddened by the lame behaviour of the adults in their lives and the consequences of that....
