Tragically wonder love story well performed!
I loved this story and it's wonderfully flawed leading lady and man. The multiple narrators allowed me to feel I wad actually right with the characters, seeing their lives and not just listening to a book. I'll miss Clark and Will!

a heart wrenching love story.
louisa needs a job and will needs a caretaker, but louisa has never been a caretaker of a disabled person. turns out, that's not what will's mother wants for him. she wants will to have a friend, someone who will make him happy. louisa does that and more, but i'll tell ya, this book sent me for a loop and had me so wracked with grief, that i would have to stop listening to pull it together. it's intense, seriously intense.
i plan to listen to it again, because it's just that good, and instead of dealing with the heaviness like in the first listen, i could take it easy and maybe delight in the great relationship that louisa and will share.
this book is worth more than one credit, it's just that good.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
As an adventure addict myself (skydiving, bungee jumping etc) I can relate to Will's life prior to his accident and understand his frustration with lack of mobility. Imagine having to rely on someone else for every meal, sip of water, bathroom break...of course I'd be pissed about life and all able bodies around me. This is a great read about a woman (Lou) who through this ass of a quadriplegic (Will) finds a passion to live life boldly. To travel. To explore. To want more than what she is accustomed to in her home town.

The moment Will and Lou kiss.

The moment Lou finally ventures off to Paris and reads Will's letter.

The most heart-wrenching, incredulous story
Everyone who knows me, knows that my favorite love story of all time is the Fault in our Stars by John Green. However, after reading Me Before You, I've discovered that it is one of the most well-written stories I've ever read. Of course everyone who has a heart will wish the ending of the story could have been a happily ever after, but it's not just about that. This story isn't supposed to be that way because if it was, you wouldn't have appreciated your life in a way that you hadn't before, or the way you appreciated love and happiness. If you're contemplating on reading this book, read it. It may be saddening at times but if you get through the end of it you'll be much more appreciative and hopeful.

Not what I expected!
You read the title and a million thoughts go through your mind as to what this story is about. Read this story and you realize that it isn't just a story, but multiple life lessons. My heart is hurting but only because of the sadness of the family. A family who starts off close but then ends apart. My heart is full because someone who has resigned to live their life as is with no trying has had their eyes open to possibilities. My heart is bittersweet because someone who was full of life and in control fought everyday to keep that.
A great read! A wonderful story! Will definitely recommend it!
