Realistic Love Story

Where does Me Before You rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

It's one of the Best romances I have listen to thus far.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Me Before You?

One of favorite moments was when Will visits Lou's home for dinner and meets her boyfriend, Patrick and her family. I really enjoyed the dynamic the author was able to create between Will's character and the family. I could feel the shift from the family's view of Will at the beginning of the dinner to then how it changes towards the later when they just see him for what he is, a wonderful young man.

Which character – as performed by the narrators – was your favorite?

All of the narrators did an outstanding job on this book; no complaints on my end!

Who was the most memorable character of Me Before You and why?

Lou was an outstanding protagonist as she brought so much complexity to the book. I loved how her personality had many layers and yet she continued to surprise herself all while gaining a love for Will which Ultimately enabled her to continue to grow as a person.

Beautifully written

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

Definitely, it's a beautiful love story but more importantly a story of growth and finding oneself. Would also highly recommend a box of tissues along with it. :)

What did you like best about this story?

What I loved about this story was that even though in the back of my mind I knew how it would end, the author still gave you hope that something would change, and the way it ended was just exceptionally beautiful. At first I thought I would hate it if it ended the way it did, but when it was unfolding, it was the only ending that made sense.

Have you listened to any of the narrators’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

No I haven't, they did a good job. I particularly liked the narrator for Louisa. It was a little odd to have the different voices for other people in their chapter, it threw me off, but it worked.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

No particular moment, the whole story is incredibly moving.

I am pretty picky as to what I enjoy reading. This book was a delight. The writing, story-line and narration were all excellent. I could not put it down and was very sad to have it end. It was funny, sad, insightful and thoroughly entertaining. Highly recommend.

Very good book! Enjoyed it quite a lot. Easy to listen to and a memorable story. can't wait for the movie now.

The storyline was great. It was hard to stop listening to, but you know, I would have to do that from time to time to take care of my family, eat, and sleep. :)

I adored Will. He had such an interesting perspective on life. He was wise beyond his years and I loved the relationship between him and Louisa.

Great narration, great story. If you're hesitating, don't! Listen now, you won't regret it!

LOVED IT. I LOVED IT.

Jojo Moyes writing style is fascinating... lots of unexpected and imaginative outcomes. I enjoyed the real to life contrasts and the reactions to two worlds and lifestyles becoming entwined. Very human.
