Fun for zombie fans, but NOT for kids!

This is a wonderful spin on the zombie genre, and making it a tag-team affair between a struggling couple adds new dimensions to the idea of surviving the zombie apocalypse. Choices someone might make on their own are now turned on their head and challenged by ego, marital strife and cooperation issues, with both good and bad outcomes. The one thing I would keep in mind is that this story can be somewhat graphic (gore, not sex); too much for a younger listener (anyone under 16) in my opinion. But I've already got book two in my Wish List and looking forward to continuing the adventure.

Not a bad story at all but very predictable as much as the storyline goes.

Misleading Genre

So... I really enjoyed this book. The writing was awesome. The narrator was amazing. However...I found this book on Audible Escapes, under the genre of romantic comedy. While there are some funny oneliners and chuckles to be had, and there is a bit of romance in the marriage saving, I think the author would find a better niche in a zom-poc genre. I still gave five stars, because the storyline is epically awesome. If the author managed to get into the AE program with these tags to get readers, kudos. But, for anyone looking for lighthearted romcom, you might want to look again. Again, this book is awesome, and I'm definitely continuing the series. I found the book I wasn't looking for.

Awesome

This book was pretty good if you like stories about Zombies. Light hearted and comical with some suspenseful moments! It definitely my attention.

better than expected

I never thought I would like a zombie book but this book changed my mind. Moments of laughter and a lot of suspense. Good book

Very refreshing! The voice performance was great!

I defiantly want to hear more about this couple and their experience in a zombie filled world. I felt like the had some very realistic personalities through out the story.

cute and funny

if you are looking for a story that doesn't take itself too seriously, this is it. It is serious at times, silly other times in just the right amount to make the book interesting. I think it is a pretty realistic look at what the average person would experience if a fast spreading Zombie plague broke out.

surprisingly awesome

if you have ever been in a long term relationship you will enjoy this book even if there were no zombies to make things more interesting. obviously the zombie thing is happening but it is in a semi realistic way and the whole plot doesn't just revovlve around that.

ALSO all the horrible things u say in your head, the main character does and it is so relatable. you realize how many more people on a daily basis want to kill everyone. lol

Sound issue has been fixed and I loved this book

I said I would redo my low star review when they fixed the sound issue... I love this book and can’t wait to read the next one.
This seems like something that would actually happen in the real world if a zombie outbreak happened.
