Good Read

Most of the time I sit at my desk and listen to books to make it through the day while working. This book was down to earth and very easy to listen to. The readers voice kept you motivated to listen. So true to life for so many people not just African American. We struggle with decisions in choosing a partner and old baggage that we carry with us for years.

Real Life Advice for Real Life Issues

This story gets a little deep into real life issues with advice that most of us accept as good common sense. I enjoyed this read and would recommend to those who's looking for a good story that holds your interest with unexpected twists and turns.

I Am Sold For Every Forthcoming Book!

I am a fan of Travis Hunter for life. He gives his characters meaningful depth and personality. He presents them as underdogs but that come out wearing a "hero's cape." He does it every time. Like every one of his books, "Married But Still Looking" encourages my belief that black men are worth every heartache, joy, tear, laughter, pain and toe curling moment that makes me love them so much more. He doesn't dehumanize men but rather let's the reader know that all hope is not lost, not even in the slightest. This is a definite recommended read, as is all of Travis' books are. Did I forget to mention that the narrator, Ezra Knight, brings ALL characters to life. His voice is mesmerizing and he adds so much depth to each character, even the ones you don't want to like. Please don't ever replace him as narrator, he's the best I've heard yet and I have listened to more than my fair share of books.

Cherish The Diamond You Have

This was a good listen. Great author. The main character should have learned his lesson after all that stuff. I won't tell the story and spoil it for anyone who hasn't heard this book yet. I must say Ezra is a VERY GOOD narrator. He's one of the best. Look out ladies.
