Constant Swallowing is gross and annoying

If you could sum up Man Enough for Me in three words, what would they be?

The performance ruins an other wise good book... For the price of this book it should have been a better production. If the reader could get her swallowing under control she would be pretty good.

Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Shari Peele?

Bahni Turpin

Great

I really liked this book and would recommend it . It had a great storyline. I really liked the spiritual tone of the book.

The book cover doesn't match what type of man she likes. The man on the cover is light skin and she said she didn't like that skin tone. I like for the cover to match the story. I can get into the whole storyline. I like the real life issues the characters experienced. I thought her and Easy was going together and I didn't see him dying. That part was hard and very sad.

I knew G was working with the police. The narrator was good and I wish this book was a series to pick up the other characters storylines.

Very Good!

Where does Man Enough for Me rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

Its a pleasant change to my self-help books and had a good plot. Some parts were a little predictable but I especially enjoyed the main character and how they really put a highlight on her spiritual life. Excellent!

What about Shari Peele’s performance did you like?

Shari was good to have played all of the parts...Once I got into it, it was like I could hear the character voices on my own.

Was this a book you wanted to listen to all in one sitting?

It sure was!

That Girl

I love this book so much. Jewels made me soooooooooooooooooooooooooo angry. She was so darn stubborn. While I understood her thought process, I didnt understand why she was so stubborn. As always the narrator was awesome.

Black romance Fire th win

This story had a little of everything. I’m. Not a fan of gang life. It’s not representative of my black experience but the amount in this book was tasteful and still a good picture of the cumture.

Spoiler alert: Not a fan a snitching.

The book became INCREDIBLY unrealistic. Main character snitches on love interest and he's okay with it.
