“An engrossing portrait of evil and fear, and of a man caught up in the fight against both…Williamson skillfully weaves the threads of horror and suspense through his story, never allowing the reader to entirely relax during even the most seeming ‘normal’ episodes.” (The West Coast Review of Books)
Hard to categorize this story, but it kept up my interest. The author develops the characters as you go, and doen's throw in a bunch of confusing stuff. Sort of a unique premise: a guy decides to give up the 'surface' word, and move into the subways. Sort of a thriller, a touch of supernatural, and an interesting world he paints.
