Needs Robert Petkoff

I adore these books but they would be a bajillion times better if they were narrated by Robert Petkoff. His accents are always spot on, his characters all have their own distinct voice, and he does sooooo much more than simply read the novel, he gives it life! Please re- record these novels using R.P., and give them the voice they deserve!!!

Like the books...HATE the narrator!

I enjoy reading the series and how each book connects together as whole. However, I HATE the detached and unemotional reading of the narrator. Some of the writing within character dialogue is a little...off...to begin with, but this narrotor makes it sound lame and weird. I can't believe he was an "actor"...unless it was for a cheesy daytime soap and I wish he wasn't getting a cut of what I paid for it. I put up with it because I like the books and listen to them while i do insane amounts of driving for my job.

Who knew!

This is on my top 3 J.R. Ward bests. Who knew Revenge was such a "male of worth"! I always saw him as the drug dealing jerk. Until... of course....Elena comes and rescues him. Overall, it was good. Also got a good view of the Sympath thing. Makes more sense with a lot of the stuff now.

Rehvenge!!! Excellent!

This one was all kinds of wonderful! There was quite a bit going on throughout, not only with Rehvenge, but some significant turn of events involving Wrath especially. I don't think there was one minute of it where I wasn't fully engaged and loving how this story was unfolding. The cameos of Rehvenge in the earlier books peaked my interest in him, and his story is definitely one of my favorite BDBs so far. If I'm really honest, they're ALL my favorites. You simply can't go wrong with this series, it is truly one of the best in this genre, and totally credit worthy.

Amazing Story But....

The book was amazing but the narrator sucked! There weren't any distinction between characters which bugged me and it made it hard to know what character was talking. Other than that, it was amazing! Can't wait to read Lover Mine!

Great story- poor narration

Love all of the BDB stories. And I enjoyed everything about this one with exception to the narrator. There are some incredible narrators that would've given these wonderfully masculine men a better voice. Every time Jim says a swear word I feel like he's cringing. These books are badass. They need someone equally badass narrating them. He just sounds too old.

It was slow getting into this book, but then at got good and couldn't put it down...

I knew I was going to LOVE Rehvenge's story!!

In the BDB series, It would be #7 for me.

Rehvenge....because he is so multi-dimensional. So many layers to his story and personality.

The whole rescue and the way Ehlena took care of Rehvenge

I enjoyed this book a lot. I enjoyed getting to know more about John and Xhex too, left me definitely excited to read their story.

So invested in this series!

This is a must read/listen to series! I am so invested and can't find enough time to dedicate to reading/listening to this series. The characters are so different in each book.

One of the best!

I wasn't sure I wanted to listen to Revenges story, but I didn't want to skip a book. Best choice ever! I could not put this down!
