The world moves with him....
He's on his own wavelength, creator of his own destiny. He took that drive and accomplished his dreams on the court. He made the world see him, adore him as much as I do.
And he adores me, too. He does so through the good, the bad, and even the very worst that causes me to lose myself. He found me once, though. In a way, I also found him, too, but am I strong enough to keep him?
Is he strong enough to keep me?

How good is this book? Let me put it this way, this audio book was 11 hours and I listened it ALL in one sitting!! Never pausing, never stopping. It was such an INCREDIBLE love story. Roxie and Griffin are a fantastic couple and I rooted for them till the very end! Their love for each other is absolutely BEAUTIFUL! I cried in this book. I felt their pain, I felt their love, so good was the writing. I will definitely be reading more books from this author.
I was definitely heart broken when I realized that the book was finished, I wanted it to go on forever. Lol. This book is deserves a new word which holds greater meaning than SPECTACULAR. Definitely listening again.
I loved the idea of Griffin and Roxie, how in sync they are, but also how trusting they are. They both had a rude awakening to the motives of people they had to deal with on a routine basis.
Roxie's denial that she had a problem.
I think this was the hardest Audible I ever had to sit through!!! The Roxie in this book was totally different from the Roxie in the first book. This Roxie was horrible. She had self-esteem issues and always assumed that Griffin would come after her. Griffin never stood up for himself. Everyone in this book took advantage of him, including Roxie. This whole book was annoying! The narriation was horrendous!!! Both of them, the male and female were horrible. The accent after the first paragraph was enough for me! The male accent was especially annoying. I think the author should have just left the book alone. The second book wasn't needed.
Loved every minute of both books! The character Roxie was so relatable because of my own struggles being a black woman and plus size this book actually gave me hope. Never giving up on yourself and I hope one day I will find my Griffin
I really wish these publishers could find black women to read for characters that are black. This woman sounds like Ilyana Kadushin (Twilight narrator) and I was halfway through the first book before I could enjoy it. I almost returned it right away except for the reviews.
Yes but not right away. Very emotional book and had a book hangover. The depths of the characters and story was intense and touched on a few deep subjects.
LOVED Chandler Griffen He's the WHOLE package. Strong, brave, emotional, caring, loyal, tough, etc etc
I heard them in the first book of this series and also in Bitten by Nicole Garcia
Chandler's older brother because he needs someone to show him how to be cared for.
I ABSOLUTELY loved this book. I think Kai voice is addictive and he emotes very well and also stays in character. Wen is very good too, but in I just didnt feel her character as much. Either way they seem to work well together. They easily give the characters life. The book itself was great.... I literally was in tears during certain parts.... I HIGHLY recommend.
i have read both books and really enjoyed the audible of book 1. I am thrilled that they use the same narrators from book 1. Roxie and Griffin story is believable.
The bond and love between Roxie and Griffin.
Even though obstacles and conflicts threatened their relationship, they still found their way back to each other. The connection between these two is unbreakable.
Not sure which one is Wen and which is Kai but Griffin's accent.....hot!!!!! Both did very well at bringing the character's to life.
Don't want to give anything away but the epilogue was awesome!!!
Can't wait for more from this author.
Traveling therapist listening to AUDIBLE books while driving to far areas. Also host/produce radio show on KGLP 91.7 on staying positive!!
Victoria Smith did a wonderful job in continuing the story of these young college lovers.. Interesting life conflict & problems made the story believable.. Narration wonderful and story great. Keep up the wonderful story telling. Perhaps with bwwm that are older.. hint hint. OR catch up with these youngster years later. Great job.. Would love to know about the father's new love interest at the end of the story.
