Kevin's got the looks; Antoine's got the heart and soul; Tyrone's got the skills; and Maurice has all the player moves - but what they don't have are good women in their lives. What do they do? Call 1-900-BLACK-LUV, of course! The riotous experiences that follow have to be heard to be believed.

Love books on tape! It's all about the narrators for me though. No matter how good the story, if the narrator doesn't cut it...
I really loved the characters of the three friends. They were very likeable. As always, I loved the twists and turns CW provides in his stories. I also liked that this story wasn't full of downright smut. Do not hesitate to purchase this or any other book written by CW. As for the narrator, he truly is one of the best! He has such talent. I love that he can play so many characters, including females, then switch back to his normal voice when just reading. Simply amazing. Love and admiration to both CW and KF.
This was one of Carl Weber's best books yet. Reading this was like watching a movie with all the twists & turns. The narrators were great with each character. I hated to stop listening...Great Book!
First of all I want to know why there was only one narrator for all of the characters!! It toon away from the narration. The narrator was very boring and I had to force myself to listen to this book. I mean it was a great book though.
The relationships were so predictable and it was very clear what was going to happen maybe if I had read this back when it was written it would have been better.
This was my first read from Carl Weber and I would give it a 10+. The book was so enlightening and it kept you wondering at all time. The ending was SUPERB! I just downloaded another one of his books "Something on the Side" which I heard was excellent too.
OK. I have listened to this book 3 times already and can't wait to listen again. I laughed, I cried, I got mad!!! This book takes you there and back and there again.
Yes, the storyline is very and easy to listen to.
When Kevin and Alisha got back together.
It could of been a lot better if it would have different narrator...The narration was horrible with one person trying to do male and female voices.
when the came back together to talk about how their lives turned out.
While I love Carl Weber, this story line left me a little disappointed. The main characters appeared to be more that of 12 year olds instead of adult men. This book was hard for me to WANT to get to the end. I kept thinking..."Can these "men" really be this stupid?"
Also, the narrator Kevin Free didn't make the book any better to listen to. His voice and what I envisioned for the men was soft & weak. His voice was more irritating than the actual story.
I enjoyed this book and all its turns and twists. There was never a dull moment. Life meets us when our objectives are clear.
