Then she catches a glimpse of Jack MacGowan, the man who ruined her life years before. But even more shocking is the sight of Jack's five-year-old daughter Faith, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Shannon's own daughter Kylie. Is it possible that their similarities could be more than just coincidence? Could Faith be the daughter that Shannon has believed to be dead for all these years?
As the truth emerges, everyone is forced to take sides--in a story with a heart as big as Texas.

"Evangelical Christian novelist Coble offers up a Texan-style serving of ranch, rodeo and rambunctious interpersonal conflicts....Fans of Coble will enjoy the light banter and easy conversational tone of this story." (Publishers Weekly)
Loved the story, the characters, the conflicts, the resolutions. Loved that there were no X-rated descriptions of sexual encounters. Loved the horses, pets and the desert location. The narrator, in my opinion, had the perfect voice for the story and the heroine's part. I thoroughly enjoyed this sweet romantic mystery.
What a stunning story, I know what it takes to trust again, you can forgive, but trust is something earned. Unfortunately my story didn't end as well, but I know that the plans God has for me are good, not of evil, and for a future and a hope! Thank you for the lovely story, and the narrator was excellent too!
