As the child screamed, the rider closest to Nolita turned and she saw with horror that he wore a mask. It was beyond belief that here, in the heart of nineteenth-century England, she should be kidnapped. Sent to Sarle Park as a companion, Nolita finds the magnificent mansion frightening, the Marchioness intimidating, the Marquis, her son, overbearing and hi young daughter destined to inherit a fortune from her American grandfather, a problem for everybody. There is terrifying danger and heartbreaking anguish to be over come before Nolita can change the lives of all who live in the house without love and be held close by the Marquis as his deep kisses fill her with fire-like ecstasy.

I am a Registered Veterinary Technician I have always read books of all categories I enjoy listening while I do yard work or am driving
Maybe not time well spent but easy listening no real attention required while doing yard work. But a fun book and still after all these years fun to listen to and well narrated.
There is no interesting or least interesting; just a fun little Cartland book
The performance was well done...nothing to dislike.
No..well I don't know, maybe. Never thought about these books in that format before.
Already have! An excellent story that's hard to stop reading/ listening to.
the male love interest.
Someone in a coma.
The story line was sooooo bad. The characters were not developed and the dialogue was atrocious.
Thankfully, it was all over in about 3 hours.
This was my first Barbara Cartland book. I now know to avoid her work.
