Maybe it's my aging ears, but I find the reader's voice and enunciation skim over the words in a way that makes it very difficult for me to engage in the story. It just sort of zips by before I can grab on to the words. The little bits I do retain often seem quite clever, so I'm not faulting the story, just the delivery. Perhaps I need to try listening at the "slow" speed setting.
