Another great book in the series with an exciting story line and another great insight to the Roman time. It got the heart racing!

this series has been outstanding, this latest addition is first class, the twists and turns of the plot keep you hooked right to the end
with the cohort moving to begin a our men collide with old foes and an old flame. brilliantly told with a touch of romance, and graphic battles, another great story in the series.
I love all the books I have read in this series. Anthony Riches is a great writer, and Saul Reichlin a great narrator.
