An amazing story between fact and fiction. I love this book and can't wait to purchase a hard cover for my favorites collection.

You did not FAIL at all with this one. I love your writing style and how each character comes to life. Another amazing book that kept me guessing. I turned on this book every time I got a chance.

Heartbreaking and Beautiful

What did you love best about Leaving Time?

This book was beautifully written. I was immediately immersed in the story.

What did you like best about this story?

I loved that this book told a story from several different character perspectives.

What about the narrators’s performance did you like?

I don't have a lot of experience with audio books, so I'm not really sure yet what distinguishes a good performance from a bad one. I just know that the narrator voices in this book were soothing and easy to listen to.

If you could take any character from Leaving Time out to dinner, who would it be and why?

Serenity, of course! I would love to learn more about what she does and how she does it.

This book was both heartbreaking and beautiful. I cried for the elephants and for the human characters in the book, many times.

Not my usual cup of tea but.................

What made the experience of listening to Leaving Time the most enjoyable?

I was immediately taken in and couldn't stop listening even though I'm not much on reading books rife with psychics and ghosts. The real research regarding elephants was gripping and I learned much about an animal I apparently knew little about.

Any additional comments?

Put your doubts aside and go with it - a book that contains so many things but at the end of it all it's about the love between mother and child.

For elephant lovers

Loved this book! As a current supporter of The Elephant Sanctuary in TN I was already familiar with some of what Jody Piccoult writes about, but I learned so much more. The story also had quite a twist ending I didn’t see coming that may not be for everyone, but I loved the whole book. If you’re not an animal lover or a believer in the afterlife, you may not enjoy the story as much. For those who do though, this may be the perfect book.

A beautiful story - I have read all of Jodi Picoult's books, and this is one of her absolute best! You'll fall in love with each character, and the mystery will keep you guessing until the end. Have the tissues on hand, I bawled like a baby - but that's how I know a book was amazing. Definitely a must read for Jodi Picoult fans.

What made the experience of listening to Leaving Time the most enjoyable?

I have read almost every Jodi Picoult novel and this one is my favorite! I LOVED it on audio, the narration was superb. You will not be disappointed.

Enjoy the Journey

At first, I thought I made a mistake..I wouldn't have chosen a book about elephants! But as the story unfolded, I knew it wasn't a mistake. Enjoy the journey, it will be worth it . My onky question...when is the movie!
