Two thumbs up from Htown

I didn't know this book was set in Houston, but when I heard the names of familiar streets and parts of towns, I immediately perked up. This was an OUTSTANDING book that made me feel proud to call Houston home. Excellent plot, character development and visual clues. The language flowed effortlessly, making an enjoyable read. Kudos to the author.

NOT MY TYPE OF BOOK

I guess I'm not liking books where someone is sittin' in jail. I just can't get into it and am going to see about getting my coin back.

Great story. Annoying Narrator!

Overall, great story. However I found myself rolling my eyes when Ike’s chapters started. Ezra Knight’s performance was so annoying, it was like Captain Kirk from the old Star Trek show. Too many pauses between words. The story is still worth the credit. I just won’t purchase anymore audio books with Ezra Knight as the narrator.
