Publisher's summary

Take a splash of betrayal, add a few drops of outrage, give a good shake to proper behavior and take a big sip of a cocktail called…Ladies' Night!

Grace Stanton's life as a rising media star and beloved lifestyle blogger takes a surprising turn when she catches her husband cheating and torpedoes his pricey sports car straight into the family swimming pool. Grace suddenly finds herself locked out of her palatial home, checking account, and even the blog she has worked so hard to develop in her signature style. Moving in with her widowed mother, who owns and lives above a rundown beach bar called The Sandbox, is less than ideal. So is attending court-mandated weekly "divorce recovery" therapy sessions with three other women and one man for whom betrayal seems to be the only commonality. When their "divorce coach" starts to act suspiciously, they decide to start having their own Wednesday "Ladies' Night" sessions at The Sandbox, and the unanticipated bonds that develop lead the members of the group to try and find closure in ways they never imagined. Can Grace figure out a new way home and discover how strong she needs to be to get there?

Heartache, humor, and a little bit of mystery come together in a story about life's unpredictable twists and turns. Mary Kay Andrews' Ladies' Night will have you raising a glass and cheering these characters on.

Hopeless main character

I enjoyed this book as I have all of Mary Kay Andrews but the choices the main character made were quite ridiculous. Why would you move out of your home and just let the husband ruin her whole life surely the law would have stepped in. Do not know how he could get away with what he did nor understand how any judge would be allowed to act the way he did.

Another Great Read for Mary Kay Andrews!

Would you listen to Ladies' Night again? Why?

I think I have either read or listened to all of Mary Kay's books and the storyline is exactly what I like to read/listen to. She always has a sense of humor and it able to keep me interested by throwing a few little events I wasn't expecting.

What was one of the most memorable moments of Ladies' Night?

At the beginning when the car ends up in the pool.

Enjoyable

I don't think they synapses gave this book justice. I wasn't sure when I read it but the reviews were good (I also liked her first book I read, Spring Fever). I really enjoyed it! Cute story line. Also the narrator did a great job!

Ok for chick lit

This was definitely a chick lit book. Predictable story line, but there were parts that made me laugh out loud. At the beginning I kept thinking I would quit, but I never did, and finished it. If you like a predictable chick story, this fits the bill

So Enjoyable.....

I really enjoyed this book. It was interesting, great characters, good dialalog, drama, and romance. Great Narrator. What more is there to say. It is just such a pleasure to enjoy a book because it is not a given...I've had a few lately that didn't do a thing for me. Really think you can enjoy this one...I recommend! Thank you Ms. Andrews...

Good, but not great

I rolled my eyes a lot. But, I still listened. A bit too cheesy. Yet, the storyline was good. Just some of the one liners were bad.
