Basically, she has a brilliant life. Gina's life couldn't be less brilliant. Her husband has just run off with his pregnant mistress. "Good Modern Romance"

I like Jill Mansell's novels since discovering her in a bookstore in Ireland. This book although not one of her best it is a good one with just enough quirky characters and sub plots to flesh out the story line and keep it above the fray of a predictable or typical romance.

Like it and it was a great listen the narrator does a wonderful job . It is a fun listen. I would recommend it to those wanting something light.

"Good book - not so great audio"

I have read a few Jill Mansell books and I enjoy her writing - I loved Two's Company. I was looking forward to listening to one of her books in audio format for the first time and whilst I enjoyed the story line, I didn't think that the narrator's voice matched the image I had of the main character, Izzy. I kept forgetting that Izzy was supposed to be a gorgeous late-thirty-something (if I remember correctly) so it surprised me sometimes that she had so much attention from male admirers.

I think I would have enjoyed this book more had I read it myself but then that's not exactly practical when you are driving :)
