I believe the medicine is doing strange things to my memory. I'm unsure who I can trust and who I should run from. And I'm starting to remember things I've never known. Things not about me. I think I'm going crazy. And even worse, I think they want to kill me.

I really enjoyed this book. I have heard several books by this author and this is the best yet. I highly recommend this book to other readers of suspence
I ENJOYED THE BOOK IMMENSELY, THOUGH I FELT THE NARRATOR'S "VOICES" FOR THE DIFFERENT CHARACTERS A BIT ABSURD. AFTER I ADJUSTED TO THAT, I FELL IN SYNC WITH THE STORY ITSELF. WELL WORTH THE CREDIT. TED DEKKER NEVER DISAPPOINTS. GIVEN A DIFFERENT NARRATOR, I WOULD HAVE CONSIDERED THE BOOK TO BE A 4 OR 5 STAR READ.
this was an awesome book and the narrator did the storyline Justice will definitely be recommending not only the book but also the narrator as well as Audible exclamation points thanks for the enjoyable time
The reader was great and full of energy. I loved how she changed her voice for the different characters.
I hated how naive and vulnerable Shaunna was. I understand that she needed someone to trust but it would have been more believable if she had more of a bite to her. I hated how she just allowed people to talk to her any type of way, how she didn't put up more of a fight when she was wronged.
Landon and Patrice.
Ted Dekker is a much better author than this.
I chose this book because I had so enjoyed the White, Black and Red trilogy but I was really disappointed by this formulaic offering. The story is listless and the characters are directly out of a two dimensional fairy tale. There was the evil stepmother, the innocently ignorant father, the too good Prince Charming, the evil villains with no obvious motivation, and of course, the innocent, whinging victim. I made it all the way through to the last 30 minutes but kept falling asleep at the end and couldn't summon the interest to see what happened. I am sure good won out.
My first and last attempt to get through a Ted Dekker book. The characters were wooden, the plot heavy-handed and marred by obvious holes, the writing nowhere near acceptable.
no cause its not only Dekker
I would compare burn to kiss cause the story its better
I love the clarity in her voice and lots of emotion
I liked the book but I'm more of a Ted Dekker fan only
