It was a story that kept your attention but stupid! the character's all sounded like hip hop artist....i kno i heard dmx in there! it was jus drama drama and more drama. I think I laughed more than any thing thats why my performance rating was so high...i figured it was a comedy lmao! but hey if u lookin for somethin outta this world funny and super wack then hey go 4 it! as much as the story line was jus wild and doesnt happen in hell or earth it was entertaining...shot...didnt pay much attention 2 the ppl on my train or bus while listening so I guess its worth it!
It you don't like...change it!
This was my second Wanda Clark book...and the first of this series. The book is good but I found myself rewinding to keep up with who was who. I would suggest reading the other books prior this one or you will be like I was rewinding and listening again to understand. Regardless, the book...series is pretty interesting with loads of drama. I do plan to purchase book 7 to finish the rest of the story.
Loads of drama
I think you should use same narrators for entire series to keep consistency. The narrators absolutely sucked. 1. They were pronouncing names differently then the previous book. I swear I'm trying to figure out when DMX started doing narrations.
The book already had A LOT going on so the narration three it off.
First off why they keep making Faheem sound like DMX, 2nd why the Hell is Tasha being so damn stupid and stubborn she knows Tre messed up and he's sorry but to stoop to the level of getting pregnant by Kiron that's crudy. I really hope Tasha and Tre can work it out. I like them two.
First why in the middle of this book did the author take time to go at people on her Twitter? and why in the hell did Cart Hire sound like DMX? come on I'm not sure if your style of writing switched because it was a young money production! but you need to go back to book one! if it wasn't for Tre this entire story would have sucked!
I've been an avid reader since I was a child. I love different types of writing styles and I am never afraid to try new authors.
This book was easy to listen to. From the moment the book starts it's full of drama and is very fast paced. The narrators brought the characters to life. The only reason I didn't give this book a 5 star is that some of the story lines were hard to follow; either due to minimal build up or that there was too much going on back and forth it was easy to forget who belonged to whom. There are several story lines left open so I hope eventually Trae & Faheem get a clue.
