Jayakanthan, born in 1934, is known for his original thinking and thought-provoking ideas. A prolific writer, he has two autobiographies, two biographies, several novels and novellas, anthologies of short stories and essays to his credit. He is a Fellow of the Sahitya Akademi and was awarded the Jnanpith Award in 2002.

It was very late i read this book , but worth it.. each story is a classic. This is the first book i ever read and listened of Jayakanthan..Now , I am looking for all of his writing.. His style is very simple and to a point. I heard about his writing and felt it when i listened to his short stories.. he will on one of my top writers ..
the style and simpllcity in language and his flow connected me very well.

Suyadarisanam and window stories are awesome. His narration has just getting the situation/plot in my eyes. Great writer we have lost in our generation!

This is my first audio book experience in tamil...I should give 5 out of 5 for this work.
