They begin a furtive relationship as mentor and protégée, but even as Dane tries to sort out who she really is, and she tries to understand why she is drawn to him, they are watched by secretive interests who not only possess the answers to Mandy’s powers and misplacement in time but also the roguish ability to decide what will become of her.

Frank Peretti has crafted a rich, rewarding story of love and life, loss and restoration, full of twists and mystery. Exceptionally well written, Illusion will soon prove another Peretti classic.

That is all I can really say….wow! The story may seem a little weird at first but stay with it, you will be rewarded.

Amazing!

I listen incessantly to audio books, so when I realized that this book was going to be read by the author, I was dismayed. The author never reads a book as well as a trained “reader” and it always detracts from the experience. Boy, was I wrong this time!! I have never enjoyed an audio book more. The Production, the reader, and of course, the story was amazing. I expect no less from Frank Peretti the writer but Peretti the reader…. Absolutely the best ever. I cried, I laughed and , of course, I longed for the homecoming with my Savior and my own dear husband and family. Thank you, Thank you……

Fantastic story!

Thrilling from beginning to end and the first Frank Peretti book I’ve read that brought me to tears! It was great to see the comparison of the love shown in this story to the love our Savior has for us. Would absolutely recommend!

This was a captivating story and made so much better by Frank Peretti reading it himself. Having grown up with Frank Peretti's books and listening to him read them it was like having a familiar family friend back in the house with him reading Illusion. Thank you for a job well done!

Good book

It was a good story though a little confusing at times. But I enjoyed it nevertheless.

The real magician, is Frank Peretti.

I absolutely love this book. When I started listening to the book, I was so enraptured in the storytelling and the characters that within a day and a half I finished. Frank Peretti has always struck me as a very talented fiction novelist, but I always thought that he was exclusively stuck in the realm of thriller/semi-horror novels. I was completely, and pleasantly taken by surprise as he injected a love story, magic, and other previously untouched themes into this book. picking a favorite moment in this book would be a disservice to the completeness of the story. I very highly recommend anybody seeking a good fiction novel, whether Christian or otherwise, to buy the hardback or audio version of this book and truly enjoy Frank Peretti at his finest.

Just Delicious!

I was captivated by the fantastic notion of the time' travel'/sci-fi multiple instances joined with sincere faith. Thank you Frank Peretti, you did it again!
