I didn't want this story to end!!! And the British accent was beyond sexy.

Action, romance, great characters with depth...what more could you ask for. Great audio!

Loved The Accent!

I own pretty much almost all audibles by Josh Lanyon and a lot of Kindle books as well. I love her works—some more than others. however, this one just didn't do it for me. The narration was monotone and maybe too long of pauses in between which I find increasingly aggravating as the story went on. It kind of killed the dynamics of the scenes into just one long monotonous scene from beginning to end. It is also not very convincing and failed to convey emotions. It was rather painful to listen too. I don't know if it is due to the narrating which caused the story itself to be dull as well. I had to force myself to finish it and I was actually relieved at the end that I finished it and can move on.

I gave 4 stars because I love most of other Josh Lanyon's works.
