not as good.
didn't care too much for the main character in this one. her character was very flighty and whiny aka spoiled. she kept asking the same questions that she had already gotten the answers to. it was very repetitive and redundant. hopefully the next book makes up for it. didn't like losing characters too.

Great Potential to be 100%, but lacking in a few areas.
The overall book was good, wasn’t pleased with certain parts of the book. The Hanna character addition, something about her story is just off, can’t put my finger on it.

I was excited to start this book from reading the synopsis, but I was thoroughly disappointed. The FMC was whiny, childish and foolhardy. I did not like Marcus, at all. Marcus was a creep from the beginning. This story could have been good, I kept waiting for it to get good, but it failed at every turn. There was no character development or world-building and it fell flat. This was the first book I've read by this author, so I'm hoping this was a one-off and the other books are better. Read at your own caution, but be prepared for annoyance and damsel-in-distress situations, created by the FMCs own choices.
