I could listen to this book again because it was very entertaining....
This book leaves you on edge you find yourself thinking about the characters and needing to know what happened in the end I can't wait to listen to part 2..... Hurry
I don't know, I didn't read the print version.
Most: The storyline had lots of directions
Least: Seemed like it was just in the middle when it ended
This is my first audiobook.
All of Ms Peaches parts.
Ms Peaches because she kept it real from beginning to end the most believable person in the book.
I can't wait to get my hands on part 2!!!!
This book was so good, I listened to it twice back to back and I'm looking forward to the follow up book! I'm mad I have to wait until the end of October 2011 for the second part. The story is like real life situations I see and know about in my hometown! I recommend this book 100%
I really enjoyed this book. The only reason I didnt rate 5 stars is because I dislike a book that leaves you hanging in the end! But this book held my attention the whole way through!! Im a repeat listener.
I would definitely suggest checking this audiobook out! It was very entertaining and made you want to sit in your car just a little bit longer to see what was going to happen next. The characters were very interesting and it wasn't too predictable. Overall, a very good listen!
The first thing you should know is that this book is the most profane thing that has ever touched my ears and I have kind of a potty mouth myself.
Second of all - if you really want to understand gang life and all that shooting and pimping and violence this book will take you there in vivid detail.
Yes there is true love but in the world of gang warfare true love apparently takes you down a really rocky path. What is much more common is domination, submission and the misguided notion that if you are banging the biggest, baddest guy in the gang you win - no matter how else he spends his time.
I'm glad I listened to and it gave me some insight (but no compassion) and I was fully engaged but it hurt my heart to think that people live this way and die this way. I'm really hoping it was more fictitious than expository.
This is a must listen too. The dynamic characters were full of flavor.....the plot was full of suspense....and every chapter kept my interest. This book had everything from true love...violence...to deceit. Can't wait to read more from De'nesha Diamond!
Say something about yourself!
The author done well with writing this book it captures you from the beginning the narrator is very great bringing you into the characters. This is a must listen audio.
I didn't listen to entire book. I could not get into story. Performance was ok, but not for me.
I didn't like it. Not my cup of tea.
