Publisher's Summary

In a Berkeley lab, Bruce Banner, a young man haunted by his murky past and the parents he never knew, works intensely day and night. A bright scientist with repressed emotions and few social skills, Bruce and his colleague, the sharp and beautiful Betty Ross, experiment with the body's ability to repair itself and fight disease. But their research draws unwanted attention. For the power of regeneration catches the eye of the military, which sees its potential on the battlefields of the future.

But when Bruce is exposed to radiation in an accident that should have killed him, a ferocious truth about his past begins to emerge - along with something else, something deep inside his own body that is triggered when he is provoked...when he is pushed beyond reason...when anger takes over and he transforms into...THE HULK

    Story
"Excellent book, get it or "HULK SMASH""
Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

The book gives a better insight into the troubled early personal life of Dr. Banner. The hidden pentup rage of Banner is what fuels the Hulks rage when transformed from puny Banner.

What did you like best about this story?

It shows how a troubled childhood can have repercussions later in life from a cruel unrepent and unchanging parent a father in this case.

What does David Strathairn bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?

Stratharin breathes life into the characters which is not possible with a monotone read.

Who was the most memorable character of Hulk and why?

Why the Hulk of course the misunderstood monster.Who when first encountered is considered the heel, the enemy, the bad guy,a mean nasty destroyer when in truth he's the good guy,the hero.

    Any additional comments?

I would like to see a book based more on the orginal Hulk with his child like brain and small vocabulary also the 3 to 5 word sentences.
