A thoughtful, captivating and ultimately uplifting novel from this uniquely talented author.
She has just two weeks. Two weeks to teach him how to fall in love - with his own life.

"100% pure pleasure"
I was going to describe this book as a guilty pleasure but decided against it. After all why should anybody feel guilty for enjoying such a lovely heartwarming story? Cecelia Ahern is a skilled storyteller who has dealt with a difficult subject with compassion and an appropriate level of humour. The story has some interesting twists and turns and kept me riveted to the end. The heroine is a delight and when her full story was revealed I had a genuine lump in my throat. This is screaming to be made into a film but in the meantime I thoroughly recommend this audiobook and the beautiful narration by Aoife McMahon.
Like any book it took a while to get into but I loved this romantic story. I grew attached to the characters and towards the end couldn't stop listening to the story.
"Laugh out loud"
Never read one Cecelia Ahern books before but they really do make you laugh out loud . Truly brilliant and funny
"Unusual love story"
Unusual love story but a bit slow in places. Narration was good and the story was easy to listen to but not a book I would reread
I am so disappointed. Average story nothing special and sadly predictable. Haven't read a good book from Cecelia in a long time.
It's quite predictable but in a way that you feel your in safe hands. It's a lovely easy listening chick lit with great main characters.
The happy ending of course! And I loved the part where she goes into the freezing lake to get theory pad.
Where she delivered the lily pad to Maria
"Predictable and disappointing"
I have listened to and read many Cecelia Ahern books in the past and find most of them to be an easy and enjoyable read so I would definitely read another. I would also listen to a story narrated by Aoife McMahon in the future, she sounds very natural and conveys the characters very well.
I don't think it needs a sequel, things were tied up quite nicely at the end even if it was predictable and the subject wasn't interesting enough to warrant another book.
Having read Ceclia Ahern's books before, I thought she may finally be delving into something deeper dealing with such a serious subject matter here, however the story and solution was so unrealistic it was almost frustrating. There were some touching moments but overall, it was difficult to really connect to Adam and I was more interested in Christine's life. I probably would have enjoyed the book more if it was just about her, without the looming love story.
