Super.

This book was amazing, start to finish. I couldn't put it down (or, turn it off). The humor and sarcasm made me laugh out loud on multiple occasions, and the realness of the characters made them so relatable. The narration was on point and gave an extra "pizzazz" to the whole thing. I highly recommend it, as you will learn valuable life lessons without even realizing it. Will definitely be reading more of TJ Klune's books.

A must read

His best book yet. It was the most adorable book I have ever listened to. Written well and read perfectly. If you need a great feel good book that make you laugh till you cry this is the one to listen to.

Absolutely. The thing about TJ Klune books is their re-readability. And with audiobooks at least with the narrators that have worked with TJ they take his work and make sure they are just as worthy for relistening!

I'm not sure you can. There's a uniqueness to this story in particular, as well as TJ's other work that is just so ... uniquely TJ.

OMG, I loved this story

I loved this story. I love these guys and their friends. I want to live in Abby Oregon now. I want to go to Lottie's Lattes and meet the denizens of this town. They were well written and entirely believable. I know so many people like this. So many of my friends and acquaintances are reflected in these folks to at least some extent.

Grumpy Gus beginning leads to Awesomeness!

He pulled it out of the fire!

I almost gave up in the first chapter. Gus.. is seriously grumpy. Hang in there because once Casey enters with his tattoos and lazy smile it all turns around. Suprizingly sweet and touching amidst all the snark. ^_^

One of a kind!

This narration changed my life. I hesitated purchasing the book originally because...I just wasn’t sure....apparently I was running from one of the best books I’ve ever read and or listened to. Anyways, I bought this book and whisper synced it because I decided “why not”. First I did a read through. And I enjoyed it. Then....I listened to it. The narration connected me to the book in a way I just didn’t get from reading it by myself. It broke me. There are scenes I literally sobbed through, and they still get me now that I’ve listened to it probably 20x. There are scenes that I laughed so hard I couldn’t breathe through. So when I say this book changed my life I mean in the best way possible. If I could give this book a 1000 stars I would.

A New Favourite

I love this book so much. Hilarious and adorable. I probably looked like a maniac on the bus trying to school my features because of all the laugh-out-loud moments.

Oh my frick! what are the We Three Queens? How could you leave it there!? There better be a second book even if its just three words telling me the secret!

Nice story

I like the story and I’m almost wishing I had just read it instead. Little nuances in the narrators voices were super annoying. He frequently makes this noise “Mng” before aggressively saying something, most noticeable whenever he says “Gus” which is a lot. I had to turn it off a few times.
The story overall has a lot of diversity in the characters and representation. It’s funny and emotional and I felt secondhand embarrassment. I’m a decent fan of TJ Klune and have read quite a few of his books.

Amazing

Kick ass story, kick ass characters, kick ass narrator. This book completes my life, I related to every single character, I can not recommend this more.
