HOUSE ON OLIVE STREET

When you start reading or listening to this novel, please don't give up on it. IMHO it is well worth finishing to the end, even tho it is hard getting through the beginning of the story. Listened using Audible 03/08/2020.

Loved This Book! Real & Genuine Characters

I am still in shock that I absolutely loved this book. This is a brand new genre for me and I did not expect to like this at all, but I absolutely fell in love with all of the characters as I found them to be real and true. I typically read books in a series because I like to be drawn into the characters and I could say I wish this book became one but it is definitely a fantastic standalone book as well. If you are hesitant to pick this one like I was don’t be, you will not regret it. The performance was outstanding as she captured each characters emotions and personality, I believe just like the author had written them.

Love this book!

This is at least the 3rd time I've listened and I'm sure it won't be the last.
I love how is shows how most women can bond with each other and become family.
We all have struggled in this life and I for one appreciate true friendship.

House on Olive Street

Slightly more difficult to get into the story line at first, but ended very well!

Wonderful Story

I love books by Robyn Carr. This is a stand alone story, and I laughed and I cried. The only problem with the book is the amount of off color words, and the swearing. I had to keep turning it down when my grandkids came into the room. Since I told you about the language, I recommend this book highly.

Great story

I loved this book! The six main characters are well-defined and so real. Brought tears to my eyes. Great story of friendship and survival. I was most impressed by the women and that their friendship could make them better. Thanks for a wonderful read.

WOW What a story !!!!!!!!

Robyn, has done it again. The intricacies of this story is humble, hecka funny and tears. Throughout the book you will do it all. Barbara Ann's family was driving me crazy on how they treated her. Not to worry she eventually fixes them to be more appreciated. All four women get a chance to re look at their lives and get an opportunity to make a difference. We all can relate to someone in the book. I so appreciated it when the women surrounded Beth when she was going through abuse by her husband. I wish all women who are going through this can have friends and family to stand up for them. The more we stand the louder our voices can be on this issue.

Way to go Robyn Carr. I love reading Robyn's books. She doesn't not let you down.

Excellent

So enjoyed this book. The life of each of these women, the sad and the glad times, the comical side, but most of all the bond of friendship between them. The narration is spot on, thank you Christina Moore.
