It just didn’t do it for me

I just find the symbolism did not hit home for me. The story was not intriguing enough to justify the lack. Only reason I finished was because I spent a whole credit. Easily could have put it aside to never listen again.

What made the experience of listening to House the most enjoyable?

The tension and the conflict of the characters. The good vs. evil plot.

The battle between Susan and White.

The peak of the Susan vs. White battle

No. I always like to savor a good book.

Kevin King is an excellent narrator.

A new twist around every corner!

Yes, as it gets you to thinking about true horror when you consider the person who lives inside of you and accountability.

What did you like best about this story?

That I could not figure it out. The twist just kept coming.

Which scene was your favorite?

Like the entire story as the plot flowed from start to end!

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

I hated when the ride was over and it was clear from the ending that the story of life and traps are never over.

Intense

First novel I ever read as a kid. it was a gift. I was really in to horror so I loved it. just re-listened to it with my husband and we both loved it.

The reader did an amazing job differentiating between the different characters.

The story was a good mystery, but very repetitive. much of the same phrases and circumstances being churned again and again.

I read about this book before I read it, so I knew the surprise going in. With that said, I didn't find the story confusing. Though u had to pay attention. I loved the message and the cause of the haunted house was pefect!

Didn't Want to Stop Listening

I loved this book. But I have thoroughly enjoyed all of Frank Peretti and Ted Dekker's books. It is a difficult book to put down!! The narrator was amazing! I will definitely look for more books that he has narrated.

Great story

Really great story. I liked the reading by Kevin King as well. Thought provoking.

Great Thriller!! Slow Beginning BUT Worth It!!!

Honestly, at first, during the setup of the main characters, I didn't know what to think of the book. Seemed a little hokie, and I began looking for another to buy.

After that was over and the dinner scene began, you had me!! All the way to the end!!

Found myself re-winding several times, especially when the action got big and needed clarification of who was who, but didn't bother me.

BUT! I loved how the illustration when the house became "Jacks House"! Really could relate!!

The narrator was AWESOME!! Mr. King never got in the way, even with all the different voice parts and dialects.

Thank you again Mr. Peretti! Another Gem!

This is a really great book.

I know they made a movie of this way back when but they should really think about getting ahold of HBO Max or Hulu. Is aint getting this turned into a TV series. A movie is too small to cram all this content into.
