Both Fun and Emotionally Touching

The emotional struggle that almost becomes tiresome is saved by moments of lighthearted banter and very hot sex scenes. Overall that performance was very good and the story is great. Worth buying.

No, but I really enjoyed it the first time.

Who was your favorite character and why?

Both Griff and Dante are awesome characters. I really wanted their story to continue.

Which character – as performed by Charlie David – was your favorite?

He did the Brooklyn accent fabulously. He also did a great Russian accent. He really made all the characters come to life.

If you could rename Hot Head, what would you call it?

I would call it "Smoke and Fire" I actually didn't like Hot Head as a title.

Any additional comments?

This was a great story. The only thing that annoyed me is that the angst goes on a little to long. At one point I just wanted to slap both MCs. But the payoff is worth it!

What did you like about this audiobook?

I'm actually planning to buy the kindle version in Spanish! I wouldn't listen to it again though.

How has the book increased your interest in the subject matter?

From the very beginning it traps you and doesn't let you go! I liked G's story and how he was so close to the Anastagios. They loved him so much! It's so incredible that someone so hot and handsome as Griff doesn't even know he is. D is also an incredible character. They do make a great team!

Does the author present information in a way that is interesting and insightful, and if so, how does he achieve this?

The one at the station, when D is trying to convince G to go along with him to Alek's office.

What did you find wrong about the narrator's performance?

I'd love to have a romantic dinner with Griffin.

It's a great story, I really hope it gets the attention the of some producer and makes it into a film.

This is a very well written book and the narration was on point. Dante and Griff are great characters. The subject matter was heavy at times, but there was also so many funny parts.

Sure, the guy is put on a pedestal in the MM romance genre, but this book deserves the accolades.
Charlie David's narration for this one is intense. His voice is dreamy, very sexy, intense, and his voices for each character are spot on. The sex scenes - of which there are many, and they are LONG - are read with the sort of passion and excitement that you want from this type of story.
I'm not going to give any spoilers, but the storytelling itself was great, even if the pacing wasn't. I feel like Suede could have done with a more heavy-handed editor... at over 10 and a half hours this is the longest audiobook in my collection, and it does drag in places.
Despite this, it's a story I keep coming back to - for the narration, for the romance, and for the story.
Do yourself a favour and believe the hype!

Steamy love story!!

Where does Hot Head rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?

I can honestly say that Hot Head is one of my favorite audiobooks! I plan on listening to it again.

Have you listened to any of Charlie David’s other performances before? How does this one compare?

I've listened to Falling and I have to say that he does a great job at bringing characters to life.

All the feels with just the right amount of smut.

This story has plenty of steam and plenty of pining. The central plot device was well-executed. Griff yearns in it's exquisite LOL. The performer is great too.

Hot and intelligent? Say it isn't so.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?

This is a great story of two firefighters who survived 9-1-1 and who could start as many flames as they put out. I love an intelligent story and cheering for them and groaning over the missed opportunities of our heroes.

Who was your favorite character and why?

I'm a big Griffin fan. He's thoughtful,intense, and I love his inner voice, plus I'm a sucker for the big red-headed good guys.

Which character – as performed by Charlie David – was your favorite?

I would have to say Dante, because you could easily hear the New York all over his voice.

If you were to make a film of this book, what would the tag line be?

Suede needs to do a sequel. Send them to another city for long term training. Let them go on a well-deserved vacation. Send them to me... where was I?
